Carrier Caddie does not sell your personal information. We use information to provide the tools you choose, protect the platform, support payments, and improve reliability—not to build an advertising profile around your route.
Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to Carrier Caddie websites, web applications, accounts, route tools, communities, commerce features, and support communications operated by IslandFlow Digital. It does not control third-party services linked from the platform.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you sign in with ChatGPT, we may receive your authenticated name and email address. We also collect profile details you provide, such as carrier name, CCA or regular status, route label, station or delivery unit, report time, and rotating schedule color.
Route, location, and address information
When you enable route features, we may process precise device location, timestamps, route tracks, stops, manually dropped pins, addresses, ZIP codes, delivery side, mailbox type, business name, delivery type, photos, and notes. Location permission is controlled through your browser or device.
Station Command information
When a station workspace is used, we may process its roster, office role, invitation and approval status, route catalog, linked regular carrier, temporary route assignments, official drive-along records, route-change proposals, and security events. Authorized delivery-access details and Route Notes are encrypted separately and are intended to be revealed only to the linked regular carrier or an authenticated carrier with an active management-issued Route Access Pass. Openings and acknowledgements may be logged.
Workday, forms, and evidence information
We may store package and mail counts, workload estimates, 3996 planning explanations, day records, safety defects, form-guide activity, evidence cases, attachments, and other records you intentionally save.
Community and commerce information
We collect communities joined or created, Carrier Connect account type, public carrier profile fields, follows, public posts, comments, reactions, free Water Drops, optional Water Drop notes, private message threads, message bodies, mute or block status, reports, shop votes, design requests, order-related information, and support messages you submit. Public community content and Water Drop totals may be seen by other users according to the feature. Optional Water Drop notes and Carrier Connect messages are visible only to the intended carrier or conversation participants and authorized platform personnel when reasonably necessary for security, support, moderation, or legal compliance.
Payment and technical information
Payment providers may process card and billing information. Carrier Caddie may receive customer, subscription, transaction, plan, renewal, and payment-status identifiers, but does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers. We may also collect device type, browser, IP address, security events, error logs, feature activity, notification preferences, and approximate location derived from network information.
Device-only information
Some profile, preference, calendar, draft, and notification information may be stored locally in browser storage on your device. Clearing browser data or changing devices can remove device-only information.
How we use information
- Authenticate accounts and synchronize authorized carrier profiles and records.
- Record routes, create pins, detect stops, provide weather context, and deliver the mapping features you request.
- Generate workload estimates, carrier explanations, safety records, reminders, form guidance, and personalized dashboards.
- Operate communities, moderate reports, prevent abuse, and protect users and the service.
- Manage trials, subscriptions, lifetime access, transactions, support, and service communications.
- Debug problems, measure reliability, improve features, enforce Terms, and comply with law.
We do not use precise route location to target advertising, and we do not sell personal information or precise location data.
Precise location and route privacy
Carrier Caddie requests precise location only when a feature needs it and your browser or device permits it. Examples include dropping a current-location pin, recording a line of travel, detecting a stop, centering a map, estimating a ZIP code, or requesting location-specific weather.
You can deny or revoke location permission in browser or device settings. Doing so may disable or reduce mapping, weather, and automatic route functions. Stop route recording when you no longer want the route captured. Avoid recording personal travel unrelated to carrier use.
Do not use ordinary route notes to store customer names, access codes, medical details, tracking numbers, or unnecessary personal information. Authorized delivery-access information may be entered only in the Secure Route Vault when lawful and operationally necessary. Never store scanner credentials, USPS passwords, alarm credentials, employee PINs, customer financial information, or private medical information. Before sharing a route pack or community post, review it for exact addresses and sensitive notes.
Route Notes should contain only the minimum operational facts needed for the assignment. Use a delivery accommodation or observable condition instead of a diagnosis, set an expiration when the information is temporary, and archive notes that are no longer required.
Storage, international processing, and retention
Cloud account data may be stored and processed by service providers in the United States or other locations where they operate. Device-only information remains in your browser storage unless synchronized or submitted to a cloud feature.
We retain account and feature information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal and accounting obligations, and enforce agreements. Community content may remain when needed to preserve discussions or moderation records, but can be anonymized or removed where appropriate.
Deletion requests are evaluated against legal, security, backup, transaction, and fraud-prevention retention needs. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups before routine deletion.
Your privacy controls and requests
- Edit profile and assignment information from the Account dashboard.
- Start and stop route recording and manage saved routes, pins, notes, evidence, and community content through available controls.
- Carriers can edit their public Carrier Connect profile, pause new messages, mute or block customers, and report inappropriate content. Customers can follow or unfollow carriers and report content.
- Disable location, camera, and notification permissions in browser or device settings.
- Clear device-only information by clearing browser storage; this may reset your local setup.
- Use the billing portal to manage eligible renewals and subscriptions.
- Request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing us from the address connected to your account.
To protect the account, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights or an appeal process. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid privacy request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. ChatGPT handles account authentication, payment providers handle sensitive payment details, and admin access is restricted on the server. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Station Command and Route Notes use expiring invitations, administrator approval, role-based authorization, assignment-scoped access, encrypted restricted route fields, short reveal windows, and access logging. Station roles and Route Access Passes are checked on the server; hiding a button in the interface is not treated as authorization.
Carrier Connect separates customer accounts from carrier operations, restricts message threads to their participants, and provides carrier-controlled pause and block tools. No messaging service can prevent every unwanted contact, so report abuse and do not share information you would not want the recipient to retain.
Protect your devices and ChatGPT account, sign out from shared devices, avoid sensitive postal information, and contact us promptly if you believe an account or record has been compromised.
Children, external services, and policy changes
Carrier Caddie is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the platform.
Third-party services have their own privacy policies. This includes ChatGPT authentication, Stripe payments, mapping, weather, print-on-demand, and external links. Review their terms before using those services.
We may update this Policy as the platform changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material.
Privacy contact
Send privacy questions or requests to burnettevernal@gmail.com with “Carrier Caddie Privacy” in the subject line. Include the authenticated account email and the request you want us to address; do not email passwords, postal credentials, customer data, or unnecessary identity documents.
